I know that you would like to stay our of the courts but you have to look at it this way. There wiring could have caused your brand new truck to catch a fire. I would try to take them to court not only to have the a/c duct finish but also to recoup the $500 your spent on installation.

in az we have a minimum amount of years to file a claim
i think since your redoing your system (or at least thats what i think your doing) i wouldnt bother, just get them to buy a ac duct, just be sure to tell them that that is the least they could do and if they cant do it there is alot more they can be forced to do

I agree just go talk to them first, most decent places will try to correct things before you take further actions
It is the "heater floor vent" tube you are refering to.
Best of luck,

My Mechman Alt that I tried doing a group buy here with, Ended up having a solid one over on caraudio.com

He also included how the output curve of my amp looks like as well as actual numbers. So far very satisfied. This took forever to deliever, but that was because of UPS delaying it because of tropical Storm Eduord.

holy crap, you got to punch 7500 RPM to hit 287 amps? Looks like 3600 RPM is the sweet spot. I'll have to contact my alternator builder to see the spec sheet for mine but I'm sure it's pretty much the same. Going to push forward with my second battery after seeing this.
ya but its only a 250 amp alternator, and i got it for 299 shipped which isnt bad at all. Plus he kept constant contact with me. Besides I will rarely ever go above 4000 RPM and surprisingly they way I drive I easily hit 2500 RPM haha so thats the exact power I need. I also am waiting for my 2nd battery to come in. I ordered a Powermaster d2400, should be here next week also.

have to see where our rev limiter kicks in. 7500 isn't going to happen when our tac pegs at 7k. Just talking setting in park revving the engine to max out the alternator. I'm getting a over drive pulley as well so it'll cut that RPM requirement way down. That was a good price and a good looking alternator. if you haven't post the link in this thread so others can get one.
Im just gonna run 1/0 from my main battery 1 for positive and 1 for negative to my 2nd battery. Then from there to the inside of my truck into a distro block where I will then power and ground all my amps.

I'm going to do it like styx did his, just mount the 2 batteries side ways in the original battery spot. The optimas are alot smaller than the OEM ford battery. Yea I've been planing to do this for months just too busy to tear into the truck.
