truck pulling

not sure if this is the right place to post or not.
so the other day my brother in law starts bugging me that his truck could pull mine before i would pull him. just wondering what your opinions on this are.
his truck is a 1981 Chevy 4x4 with locking hubs 350 engine (original) and 31" all terrain tires. my truck is a 2004 screw fx4 5.4. 3.73, leveled, 35 bfg mud terrains, edge lvl2, cold air, true dual exhaust. i love off roading and truck pulls but i want to be sure i will beet him i think i can take him pretty easily

Truck pulling is a good excuse to break something. So if you want a good explanation to why you ****ed something up, use truck pulling.

In other words, dont do it. Its stupid.

Yup

With traction being equal you will pull him anywhere you want to take him. You have more weight, and more power so as long as you don't start roasting the tires you will drag it like its not there.

ya i know its dumb but its still fun. and we do it in the mud so people usally just lose traction before they break. ecept for those old lifted chevys with the 44" they break good. lol havent seen a ford break yet

pulling = retarded

but as birddog said, you would wipe the floor with him. especially if your rear bumper sits higher than his. the pulling action from him will pull your rear bumper down and help gain traction

Truck pulling is how I blow up my hubs. At least that is what I think happened.
I you do pull against him. Try to make you tow point higher than his that will give you a little advantage against him. Stay on your brakes and throttle till he breaks his tires loss then work is ***.
