Suggestions on a new 2008 F150 FX4
Just bought a brand new, Black 2008 F150 FX4, ext. cab. Im pickin it up tomorrow so ill add pics by Saturday. I am thinking on a 6" lift rather fabtech or procomp. Then some 35" mud terrains with new rims (unsure what yet). Any suggestions on what I've already said or anything I should add? Thanks.
Also what kind of CB do you guys recommend that has a PA port. Anywhere I can get a good price on one as well?

congrats on the truck, any pics??
BTW:
dont waste ur time with a cb/ pa
i had a lil cobra cb/pa , it was cool for a bit till i came across a
100 watt siren/ pa .
a Cb pa speaker is like 12 watts
this bad boy is 100 watts
i rarely use the sirens, only wen i see friends on the road, wen no one is around, but the pa is a blast.
i ll try and get some pics up later

do you offraod, or just doing it for looks?
there is no point in lifting if your truck will be a street queen. just do the 2.5" leveling kit and slap the 35" tires on there. you'll be just fine for mild 4x4 action
if you actually intend to seriously offroad with 35" tires, then you must do a lift kit.
still, I suggest you do the leveling kit first since it will only cost you $80 or less. then if it isn't enough, get a lift kit. and you can then put the leveling kit ontop of the lift kit and be able to clear 37" tires

Yea I deffinately want to hear more on that PA system. How much are they? And as far as the lift goes i do want to do it for off roading and on road purpose. But what reccomendations as far as brands and where to get everything straight with the lift for mpg stuff (computer tuner, etc.)

as far as the lift : if i had money
i would go with fabtech with the coilovers
xcal custom tuning or edge for us impatient people as far as tuners
and you def need exhaust,
and for that PA , i went here: Great stuff and fast shipping

Any reccomendations on what siren/speaker to get. And yea im thinking about the fabtech but does anyone know a cheap website for parts and stuff like tuners and lifts? Also any installations places near raleigh nc.
For the exhaust im still not sure. Want something loud but not bad for the engine. I have a local muffler shop that is good just gotta figure out what to get.
