And sometimes in turns. What is it? Ball joints?

Sounds like you might have a rock stuck somewhere, when mine was doing it I had a rock stuck in the upper control arm.

My truck does the same thing too. I already took it to the local ford dealer & they found nothing wrong with the suspension. Sounds like a metallic nosie coming from the left front. If you find out or if I do before you please let me know as because this noise doesn't sound healthy

Not sure when I'll get mine in, but mine is left front too. Also, when I get out and step on the running board and cause the truck to sink, same noice.

check your front sway bar. if the sway bar is slightly loose, it will allow the rubber peice to move around and cause some noise

Ok I think it's about time to lock these forums down. Every time someone post a problem it seems like I get the problem a few days later. I got the squeak now as well. grrrrrr. Going to wash the truck tomorrow so maybe that "rock" will spray out.

My ball joints are like 5 months old so it maybe the uppers but I doubt kinda that. I'm thinking sway bar as well. Too hot outside right now to just go out and gander. I'll crawl under there later this evening and have the wife use her fat butt for some good.

Dried out balljoints would be my thought. Ive replaced many F150 balljoints that made noise but werent loose. Are they greasable? I drilled a hole in one on my dodge and put a zerk in it, noise went away

Mine does not sound like a sway bar, but eventually I'll get it in and post up

I'm going to replace my worn out shocks here in the next few weeks with some bilstein 5100's so maybe while doing that I will find out for sure.
