LCA Clunk

How does one tighten the lower sway bar end link? IE the one that bolts to the lower control arm. After installing my Autospring Kit the bolt for the lower end link just spins and wont tighten.

Anyway,
Thanks again!

18mm deep socket, and I used some vise grips on the end link shaft above the LCA. Not how the Ford house does it, but it worked.

Yeah stealth thats how i loosened it in the first place however, it seems that either the lower sway bar end link is a ball joint or i broke it. Either way i can move the lower bolt and nut separately from the end link shaft thing.

I remember mine being a solid piece and the only part that rotated was the nut itself...sorry man

If I remember correctly I thought that the bolt either had a hex hole inside of it or was hex on the outside on the end so that you could hold it while tightening the nut with a open end, though I may be confusing it with the upper ball joint. Mine spun as well and I think I held the bolt while tightening the nut with an open end wrench

Yeah the upper ball joint was a whole other pain in the butt. Ill try to post up a quick video later of the sway bar end link movement that i am talking about. It loose enough to wiggle by hand and i don't want it to push the washer through the thin part of the LCA
