People SUCK!!!!

soooo... i walk out to my truck this morning to go to class just like every other day... and notice my truck is covered in white crap. from a far i started thinking someone spray painted my truck.... i get closer and in on the ground and everything. looked like someone set off a flower bomb or something. under further analysis. i come to the conclusion that someone used an ABC powder fire extinguisher on my truck. yep. people suck.

So.. You were even madder when your truck was covered in powder.. And not paint?

Wash it, forget it.

When you stop to consider what this person could have done to your truck, I say you got off easy. It sucks that people can't leave another person's stuff alone but as was already said, wash it and move on.

I have to agree on the concept of 'you're lucky it wasn't paint'...I had that happen once to my '96 sapphire blue (one of the very first...it actually was sapphire blue w/red pearl, not the ones that always looked purple) and silver F-150..I had just totally detailed it and some dillholes painted their garage and the wind blew the white primer all over the truck...it would have been far better if the truck had been filthy as the paint would have stuck to that...it was a royal PITA to get that cr@p off, let me tell you...

i wasn't madder when i found out it was powder i was relieved. i contacted the local fire department to figure out how to handle the stuff without doing damage. they said make sure that you rinse the truck EXTREMELY well before you wash it. it has like silica powder in it and if you just go to town washing the truck it will be like sanding it. so i did what they said and rinsed it then wash like normal and all came out well. i'm happy that the truck wasn't damaged but i'm still pissed at the concept of it. i just moved here and now i get this. is this a sign of things to come in the next couple of years that i have to live here? i mean seriously i haven't even been here a month and this happens. any ways... i got a police report and he said that its a felony to discharge an extinguisher without the presence of a fire. he is talking with the property manager. i doubt anything will come of it but oh well. time to get a security camera to point at the truck.

peerless... i know how you feel i used to live in Orlando and the same thing happened except it was a company painting an apartment complex that got it all over the truck. it ended up being etching primer and ruined the paint.

impact...it will be receiving a nice clay polish and wax job just for good measure.

Welcome to Gville. My truck got keyed when I lived there. I was asking for it that night. I parked in a spot that was way to small for my truck and was probably to small for a car. Lets just say the only way to get out of my truck was throw the window.
