Where to buy gears?

No, not a pro. I have dopne some extensive work on cars and trucks but no gears or tranny work. Everything else I have done before. I have gone through a couple of gear replacement how to's and they lok pretty straight forward. Just a lot of common sense needed and patience from what I can tell. I have a relative who has done this before so I may pick his brain. I really like to do my own work though.

Sounds like your set. The insane labor cost is the only reason I dont have gears. I will do most basic jobs but I dont trust myself with gears.

Not sure if I am set but I will do my homework, if it looks like its something I can handle then I will do it. If not, I won't.
