Innerside Tool Box

I need a tool box that is shorter than the bed height. pretty much my only stipulation. Delta Pro has a 48 inch, for 249.99 + 16.22 shipping.

Is their better out there for cheaper? or is this good for our trucks?

fyi I have a 04 flarside supercab

I would also like one that sits at/just below the bed height. But I don't have $200+ to spend right now.

Black Truck - I've never seen one for less when I've looked around. I was looking at the regular (full width bed) boxes.

I use a tuffy box that goes over the wheelwell lengthwise in the bed (so i can fit my ATV in and still close the tailgate). It is a bit shorter than the rails. They run like 400 bucks new though.

Northern Tool and Suppy has some toolboxes that go around your rear wheel wells and some other small alum. truck tool boxes. The prices seem ok, but I'm sure the shipping will hurt.

Good luck.

I bought a large plastic Rubbermaid tool box from walmart and it works great for me. Stays under my tonneau and holds my hitch, tow strap, tie downs, tools, etc.
This is very comparable to what I have.

look into the Ranger tool boxes. I've seen quite a few that fit inside the rails...and since our beds are deep, the toolbox should fit under a tonneau as well

bought my last toolbox for $170 at Shucks/Krager Auto Parts. They had 3 or 4 to choose from.

I have that same one! It is made by Outdoor Solutions or something like that. Has a place for a lock on the front. It would sit right under bed rail height, but mine is even because I have it on a piece of 1" plywood.

I checked out craigslist, and almost every single one they had was the kind that sits on top of your bed rails. I could do this I guess, but inside the toolbox, I would need it to hold 2 batteries for my audio. So thats why I wanted it on the floor, so I can run the cables through where the water drains from the bed of the truck to the ground.

Got mine at the local farm store for under $75, took a heat gun to the inside of the toolbox and molded it to the wheel wells for a custom, solid fit. Works great

It's a UWS box. It was just south of $300.
