Rearend spring block removal ??

Hey if this has been asked before please don't flame me to bad....
If when I take out the 2 inch block from under my rear springs on my 2004 FX4
Is it going to mess w/ my pinion angle enough to hurt anything????
looks pretty straight forward but with all the trouble w/ these rear-ends
I am cautious ... OH yaah it's so it will fit in my garage... I am tired of scrapping ICE in the winter....
thx

block is 1 5/8" tall

what you'll need:
1. 4x2 u-bolts
2. jack stands

and that's it. alot of guys have done this and haven't had any issues. if you do get any vibrations, there are multiple shim kits on the market for pretty cheap.

give it a whirl and lets us know how it went

why are you getting the front end aligned?

removing rear blocks don't affect front end alignment

Well because of the concrete wall I ran the lower control arm into maybe ? lol
oppsies....
And it has never been checked... since I rolled outa the dealer.....
I am concerned as the front has raised some and it looks like the geometry is off a little w/ the arese being set down.. level
I mean it stands to reason w/ the arese being down less running weight is toward the front now?
Man these are great trucks...
To bad w/ gas costs going crazy the big truck is gonna be a thing of the past..
Kinda weird w/ the rear bumper low... it seems like I lowered it like 9dfeet...lol
Amazing how you get used to..little things like that when you get this old?...

cool

you should feel the way the truck feels with a 2.5" spacer installed. Feel like I'm king of the road. I swear it's a different truck. funny how 2" in front or back can make such a big difference
