If I remember correctly isnt there an way to hookup the ipod to the stock headunit? If someone could send me a link to where I can find that that would be great!

BTW I have an 04 audiophile system and I dont want an FM transmitter

 

I did a quick research and found that most ipod adapters do not work with 04s only 05+. But would this combo work?

I believe there are PIE products for adaption, but not positive.

What'd you do with your polk/ED/Avic system? Going into the stang?

The one thing about this adapter is that you have to have constant power to it. My cousin wired into the 12V power point for that. Too bad you don't have the 05 and newer MP3 compatable HU. I was able to install this last weekend:

My HU code was just barely compatable.

Before this, I had Trip Tunes direct plug in for the antenna...sucked. One thing about the PIE adapter is that it really sounds great. Good Luck.
