Tinted Tails and New Fx4 decals

Horrible pic and the truck/rims are dirty but I figured I'd show ya guys. I tinted the tails and changed the FX4 decals to shadow grey to match the rockers. Oh and thanks to Patriot Decals...they are always so great to deal with.

I like those tails. Explain how you tinted them? Did you replace them with HD's?

Wetsanded with 1000 grit sand paper, taped off clear, sprayed about 5 coats of VHT Nightshades and wet-sanded in between coats if there was any inperfections. I than had a auto-body guy professionly clear the whole light. I think they are just about perfect...not too dark so people can still see my brake lights.

Thanks for the explanation. I think I'm going to go for it.

I like the tail lights a lot, however I don't know if the new decal really does the rig any justice. I think it doesn't exactly flow with the theme of the truck. The whole big wheel combo and all...I think it would look slick without them.

wow man that looks awesome. i have that saem color scheme on my truck, so now i know what my decals will look like. i do have a question though. on patriot decals' website, they only list flat black as an available choice for background color. yours look to be gloss black. is it just the pic?

I figured someone would chime in........

This is my SUMMER setup. In the Fall,Winter and first part of spring I will put back on my stock 20's and All-Terrains. I was going to lift and put on big meats BUT I do way to much towing and traveling in the fall when hunting and I did not want to lose any MPG. Thats why I went with big rims, because I wouldnt have to touch the suspension.

The decal is the dark grey outline...the black color is actualy my trucks black paint. The picture reallys doesnt do the tails or the decals justice...Ill get some more pics once I get in my other little mod
