i'm going to put my money on "there's something else wrong with that exhaust system for $500, Alex"

it's quite possible that somewhere up stream from the tail pipe, the exhaust is hitting a frame rail, bracket or something else. i'd throughly inspect it. just out of curiousity, did the sound start after the damage happened?

I bought the truck in Sept 07.
my brother messed up my exhaust in October when i let him tow his trailer and he ended up jack knifing the trailer..put a dent in my fender, bent the exhaust and scratched up my rim...real nice..anyways..

The sound didnt start until about January.

I'll probably just put it in the shop and have them figure it out...my dad listened to it and he wasnt too concerned and he was a mechanic for 20 years but we'll see.

even if it's not the exhaust i'd still like to get a new one since mine is bent..but i think i'll go the cheap route for now cause i'm probably goin to be movin in about a month so need to save money
