04 SCAB T-Boned

I know I don't often post, but thought I'd share that my 04 SCAB was T-Boned this past weekend by a Lincoln Town Car that ran the red. I don't think the Town Car even touched the brake pedal (no squeal) becuase my truck rolled up on the two drivers side wheels, and then came back down. A witness said he saw the entire bottom of my truck. Luckily no one hurt in either the truck or Town Car. The 3 of us have some bumps bruises, and sore muschles, but beats the alternatives!

(edit) - When we calmed down a bit, my daughter who was riding in rear seat center looked at the damage and with a tear in her eye she said "Built Ford Tough Dad".

Just waiting on the adjuster to make a decision on what is going to happen.

Posted some pics in my gallery

Here's one:

Open to any tips/pointers on how to deal with the adjuster.

Glad you and the family are ok!

How fast was the Town Car going? How was the damage to it?

Here's the Town Car, I'm guessing between 30-40 mph

It also popped out my pass side CV

Lower ft wheel

I also think the cab shifted towards the drivers side

Glad everyone is ok, Built Ford Tough for sure. I guess we can't complain about the F150 weighing so much all the time

Damn dude, glad nobody was hurt. I was looking at my truck the other day wondering how it would handle a t-bone with the gimpy little rear door, I can see now it would hold up fairly well. Hope it all works out for you.

T-Boned Scab

Glad no one hurt. I would make sure if there were any mods done to the truck that you assemble all of receipts and or any invoices for them. Even if you put new tires on 6 months ago. It looks like a total loss Remember that you can even sue the other driver if the insurance company starts trying to plat games on what the vehicle is worth. Lots of luck.

Glad all the family is ok. I know what a jolt it was when my 250 got t-boned by another 250.

Take Care

Truck took the hit pretty good, a lot better than if you and your family was in one of those "econ-o-boxes". Glad everyone was OK. That's why I rather pay a little more for gas and be safer in a truck.

Wow, glad nobody was hurt. That can be attested to both vehicles being made by Ford motor company. Wish you all the best getting things squared away.
