I replaced my throttle position sensor the other day, got the part from the dealership, the one they gave me didn't look like the one on it, but it fit , the part # is 6L2Z 9B989.C is the one they gave me . I searched on this site were somebody said the part# was 6L2Z 9B989.A is their a difference.

4.6 part # F4SZ9B989AA
5.4 part # F32Z9B989B

The C part number you have listed is for a 2006-07 Explorer or Mountaineer.
The A part number you have listed is for a 1999-07 F250 with 5.4 or 6.8

 

Thanks bradon, so the one a have is for an explorer, it seems to work fine wonder what the difference really is, it seemed to fix my problem of w.o.t. flutter.
