The Extra vacuum port..

Greetings all. I am trying to figure out what this extra, closed off vacuum port is on my truck..? I have a 2004 5.4 xcab and near the rear of the engine compartment, on the pass side, there is a strange shaped (a few right angles) red vacuum hose that isnt connected to anything and looks to be factory plugged. Does this goto / come from the main vac? What is its purpose?

I apologize if this has been answered before.

Thanks tons!

It will cost a few bucks to convert your 2 wheel drive to a 4 wheel drive That vacuum line is not a PLUG & PLAY ITEM
