Just got a "new" truck! Let the mods begin!

Hi all! Just bought a 07 King Ranch to replace my 05 King Ranch that I sold. I loved my 05, but I like the 6.5' bed on the "new" one. It only has 9000 miles, and it came with a bunch of extras (headrest DVD's, chrome grill, etc.). I really do not want the hard tonneau cover, so I may end up trying to sell it. I like them, but it is not practical for me. I also like the solid black paint, as opposed to the Pueblo Gold accent on the bottom. Got a good deal on it, plus it comes with a 6yr 100,000 powertrain warranty from Ford, along with the remainder of the 3/36 bumper to bumper. Here is the link to my gallery...as I know I will get blasted without posting pics

Want some ideas on mods though. I would like to do the LED lights, and I am liking the look of the smoke lenses on some members' black and gray trucks. I also am thinking about some HID lights in the black FX4 headlight housings. As for wheels, I might go with some lift and Diamo 17 Karats. Opinons?

Looks good! The 6.5' box is nice, easy to curb the rear passenger wheel and handles like a 747, but that was the only way I would have bought mine.

You should setup a reverse cam, unless it's already got one.

I wasnt aware the King Ranch came in a solid color. Perhaps the previous owner had it painted? I've never seen a monotone one. Cool truck man!

I am thinking the same thing on the solid color...I figured maybe the previous owner painted it. The vehicle information report that I got from the Ford dealer states "PNUAA-Ebony Solid C/C" under the paint for installed option info. Maybe someone here can decode that a little further. I can figure out the clear coat part, didn't know if PNUAA meant anything. Be interesting to see if a KR can be ordered solid.

As for the wheels, I am not sure what I am going to do yet...but I will you know. Thanks for the comments so far.

Opinions on the planned LED lights and new headlights anyone?

I remember when I bought my 06 there was a "dealer used" 06 King Ranch that was all black I was looking at. But they were considering it to be sold used because it already had 5k on it and asking too much. So it must be an option

First solid color one I have seen. And boy it looks clean! Grats on the new truck. Very nice. I think the black headlights would look good. But the chrome also matches the rims and chrome steps. Tough call!

Nice truck. I think tinted tails, harley heads, and amp steps would look awsome!
