Alarm Stuff Required

Now that I have more and more stuff going on to my truck, an alarm is needed. I recently got a pioneer double din and installed bluetooth and xm all of it. I really need an alarm. I am pretty sure of what I want, but want to make sure it is all compatible before I order. Circuit City will do the install...

Viper 5900 Alarm:

Directed Electronics 520T Back-Up Battery System:

I think that is all I need. If yall dont mind, could yall check over my list before I order it all. Thanks.

That's pretty much my system exactly and I love it. As for installation, I'd really check out the CC that will do your install. They don't exactly have the best reputation for quality installs. I am not saying that they all stink, but I've heard enough horror stories that I'd look somewhere else. I had a shop that only specializes in custom stereo and alarm installs do mine.

Everything there I have. I recommend extra sirens and window modules... But ya I work at a CCity. Just make sure he does QUALITY work. Not the cheap brain on the steering column crap. Tell him that brain needs to be unfindable.

The day you get it back. Take the truck, first look from the floor up, then take the truck back apart underneath the steering wheel. Look for any wires or any possiblity of a wire to that alarm. It should look like its all stock. If you see anything take it back and make them redo it. You have the right to be satisified and foolproof work.

Good advice. I am always hesitant to be on people's *** when they are working on my truck. I feel like if I **** them off they might cut a corner or not help me out if the opportunity presents itself. What do you think?
