Took the truck out on the beach

New Terra Grapplers did pretty good, even at 45psi. No issues and the sand was really soft in some spots. Drove about 16 miles total north of Corolla, NC. Took, Garrett, my co-pilot with me for company. He goes with me pretty much eveywhere with me anyway.

Call me crazy but I may have seen you. I remember pointing out that an F150 had similar rims to mine with beadlocks. I wonder?! ha

Looks like fun!

I'll be driving on the beach in July. Going to Port Aransas again for vacation. The beach there is well groomed, which is good now that my truck is lowered.

No, I like to tear up the dunes and scare the crap out of the wildlife wandering the beach up there. Jeez

We have land up there, takes 7 miles of driving on the beach to get to it. The Firestone and Lennox China Families have homes there as well. Nice remote beaches with wild horses all over the place. There were a lot out Sunday, playing in the water. I know where to be respectful of nature and where I can tear it up. This is a place to be respectful.

Besides when I want to go fast, I pull out my racecar and go do it on a track. Or take the plane up.

I went on the beach with out airing down (45 psi)and the tranny ran hot and sucked down fuel. Went again recently and aired down to 20psi (staun air down chucks work great) truck ran so much better, smoother, cooler and didnt waste 1/2 as much fuel. Try it next time you go, you will be amazed at the difference.
