Finally Got some Pep in the step!

Just figured i would post up, few months ago i had a local shop install some 4.10's genuine gears.

WHINE....WHINE.....WHine!!!!!!!!

Took it back and upgraded to Yukon 4.10's........................

Whine whine whine, but not as bad

Took it back, was told 4.10's are just bad about that, and they always have issues with 4.10's (dont know how to install them I guess) So I opted to upgrade to 4.30's, since that's not 4.10's, took them 3 days, in-n-out of the chunk 7 times, and finally have them quiet enough I can deal with it!

Im happy overall, and the 4.30's are way better than the 4.10's! I have a
04 2wd, w/ 4.6, 31" tires w/ american racing rims (heavy) and custom tuned by VMP, this truck feels like a different truck, Finally I can get a little spin from the line, and it's so peppy around town, on the interstate at 70 she's avg about 2300-2400 rpm, not much different that the 4.10s.

Whooo Hoooo, it's not like the stang, but it's a fun truck to drive now!

They're call Genu-wine gor a reason.

It's good to hear that they got things straightened out though. I am about to pull the trigger on some Yukon 4.88's.
