I turned my ashtray area into an auxillary switch panel. I only have one switch operating my lights behind the grille at the moment, but I'm planning for others.

That's pretty smart.

I might have to do something like that to mount my cell and ipod holders to. What material did you use to make that switch panel out of?

Its Lexan, about 1/4" thick. Picked it up at Lowes.

Thanks. I have a couple good size chucks of 1/4" black left over from a old project that can use. I'll have to get my Ipod holder on order now.
