Do I have the dreaded injector issue?

Ok so the last month or so every time I shut my truck off and then come back out and start it up again within a few mins (running in the 7/11 for milk for example) the truck has a stumble and then roughly starts, then it is fine. It does it everytime unless it sits for a good 15 mins or so. Today I went to the post office I went in to mail something. When I came back out 2 mins later and started it, it sounded like it was flooded bad and wouldn't start. Went to turn it over again and it started but for about 2 seconds ran like ****, and had a hard time, then it was fine. I haven't noticed any other issues at all with it though. Once it's started it ran like a champ as always. What do you guys think??

Yep, sounds very similar to my truck also. Mine has never had a CEL light come on or any other code, but it still smokes and is hard to start . I would like to replace all of my injectors , if I can find them at a discount price.

So if my truck has 40k on it, they would still replace the injectors?

I never got a letter, of course I only bought mine in January, but it sometimes stumbles on start like said before, but mine is VERY spread out, also do you think they will still do it if i leave my K&N on the truck, as well as the magnaflow?

It's probably NOT your injectors. I've had the same problem for 30K miles, and they've check the injectors every time and every time they say the same thing "can not duplicate problem." What they do tell me though, is that my injectors are fine. Jerks.

Is this a 5.4 problem or 4.6 aswell? I've noticed sometimes starting the same conditions you described, but mine is a 4.6

The injector recall is on 5.4's only, if you got a 4.6, your outta luck.

So does this sound like I have an injector problem or something else going on??
I really don't want to just let them go until one goes. I'd like to keep my motor running and not blow it up. What do you think??

i just recently put a k&n drop in filter in the truck, wonder if that has something to do with it.
another thing is I can only get between 10-11 mpg with this truck highway driving, or city driving. seems off even with bigger tires.
