stock radio ???

i have an 04 f150 with the regular 6 disc changer non audiophile. a buddy of mine is trading in his 07 harley and it has a pioneer avic z1 and i want it.

will my 04 radio fit and work with his 07 harley. it does not have a subwoofer connected anymore. i dont know if the harnesses are the same but it does have the input hole on the dash board on the 07. hell as long as the radio and cd player work im ok with that. i have also posted this in the headunit forum also just trying to get a fast reply. any help would be great thanks

Theoretically, it should work. Why not try it and see?

as long as his truck still has the same factory radio harness, then yes. I'll bet the Avic was wired to connect using factory connections. now all you'll have to do is mount the IPOD input somewhere if you intend to use it.

The radios between the Ford/Lincoln/Merc Expy and F-150 are all interchangeable. The Mustang Shaker system is also interchangeable.

all plug and play if the install was done properly
