6.5" bed is long enough...

...but not deep enough:

Still so glad I traded my mustang on this truck, home cleanup projects are alot easier now. Would have been more fun if I hadn't of lifted the truck before this though

Got tired of it being broken and just sitting. Cutting it in half sucked but that broke it down enough to get around front and into the truck. Sad thing is, hot tubs are supposed to be good for your back...mine is now sore

I hauled a load of 12' 2x8's in my 6.5 foot bed today. No sweat and didn't need to drop the tailgate! Then we put the PWC's in the river and drove them around to our pier. Summers almost here!!!!!

I like the 6.5 bed because my buell fits in with the tailgate up. Once I put in a chock in it I will have to run with the tailgate down so I'll have to get a bed extender. Thats ok though, then I can fit my roadstar back there too.

What a novel idea... a truck with a hot tub! Man, I see this thread going somewhere!

Haha, I remember when we got rid of our hot tub (we put a built-in pool/spa in place of it). We had an add on Craiglist for the hot tub, free to anyone who wanted to pick it up... well, someone came and got it in their 1988 Dodge Dakota. They managed to get it strapped on there semi well and drove away.

The hot tub or the truck?

The paint is stock, ford's redfire metallic. Normally when its dirty its average but when its clean and in the right light its a great looking color.

I thought about doing that but when I get on a mission I don't want to wait. Woulda been worth it to see a tiny truck haul it off though...haha. Didn't want to wait for somebody to come get it so it just got taken to the dump. Unfortunately it was raining at the dump when I took it...nothing like covering your truck in dump mud, random garbage, etc
