I just put a fabrtech 6 inch lift on my truck and it wont go into 4wd low. It'll go into 4wd high though. Any suggestions on what may be causing this?

 

Did it used to go into 4LO?

Is your truck in neutral or in drive when you are attempting this?

 

To get IN and OUT of 4lo, have to be completely stopped, foot on the brake, gear selector in Neutral, then go from 4high to 4low. Should go in/out if you follow this procedure. If not, you have a problem. Most likely the 4x4 shift motor on the transfer case.

 

Knowing if it would shift before the lift was installed would be a good starting point. Knowing the correct procedure for shifting the transfer case would be the next step.

 

Yes it did work prior to lift. I will try to do it again putting truck in neutral (tried when truck was in drive). Thanks for the advice.
