Hahaha. Actually, it didn't even take a salesman... All it took was a sign that said 0% interest and $1000 rebate on F-150 Trades. You're right though, I'm still a sucker. Oh well, I got a more truck in the color I originally wanted for the same payments. So cheers.

Do you get a new paint job when your truck gets dirty?

After reading the step by step detailing sticky, that might actually take less time!

I'm in the market for a new truck and I was kind of curious how much the dealer knocked off the sticker for you. I take it they offered you a deal you could not refuse. Any insight you have on the market would be helpful as I am researching my options from Okinawa, Japan and will be moved back to the states later this month.
Thanks and enjoy your new truck!

They knocked about 6k off the sticker price for me. I got close to KBB on my trade but the first couple offers they came out with were well under what I owed. If it weren't for the 0% interest, I would have been way upside down because of the value of the trade in. The difference in interest made up for what I lost on my trade but because of the gas prices, the market for these trucks is WAAAY down. From what I saw and what they are offering for trades, you can get a great deal on used trucks. A loaded Lariat with only about 30k on it is going for around 19-22k here in the Seattle area. Things aren't gonna get any better, so you may want to wait until you get back here and hit up some local dealerships and try to find a new one with a 0% rate. Another thing I heard is that with the new model '09 F-150s they are really trying to get the '08s off the lot. Whatever you end up doing, good luck and have fun!

AHAHAHA!
Thats exactly how i got into the truck I'm in now!
except i was in an '03 SCrew from another dealer that was ripping me and saw the amazing blazing yellow truck..
I went in for regular service and walked out in my project Tonka..
but because the other dealer was ripping i ended only dropping $1000 down and having had payed 8months on my other truck the payments were the same!????!

maybe I'll go in for service around november and see if the new '09s are in.. HAHAHAHA

Thanks for the info. Sounds like you did get a great deal. Was that 0% for 60 months? If so, that will you severla thousand more!

It is a Lariat. Hopefully this weekend with the weather being warm and all, I'll be able to get out and take some more photos.
I have a Stone Green Lariat, and I love her. Still wish I was in the PNW though...Therefore, I hate you right now... Or maybe I'm just jealous... Leave the 4X4 stickers...They look ok...Just don't add any "NO FEAR" crap...

I'm going in for a brake service Monday morning, plus a service since I have a coupon for both. Maybe I can drive out with a new one too. I'm envious. Truck looks great!
