Hello. I want to jazz up my dash just a little and was wondering if anyone knows if you can simply buy the chrome rings that surround the air vents like on an XLT. The dealer says you have to buy new vents: $150, don't see that happening.

i did see some on ebay they were 30 bucks
but i cannot find them anymore

i did that in my STX they whole vent simply just comes out. and you replace it with a new one with the chrome ring around it. do i search i know its been discussed before, thats how i got the idea.

 

BFG150. Did you add those tow hooks also? I am wanting to do that also and a 2" AS. It seems I am on similar Mod path that you went down. Can you give me any advice on those? Thanks- Greg

 

got mines on ebay for like 20 something plus shipping

 

i did the same thing on my stx.i work at a dealer so when customers came in with broken vents i changed the and transfered the rings to my ac vents.costed me nada.lol.i also got my carpet from a customer that wanted his carpet taken out and put rubber floor.to i got the carpet for you guessed it,nada.lol.

 

Wished I had known that a month and 1/2 ago when I was in DeRidder, I'd have driven up and bought them from you.
