well did you have an aftermarket alarm? The F150 does not automatically come with one. As soon as the door is opened and the door trigger wires are tripped, the alarm should trigger.

Ya, its super easy to pop-in the locks on these trucks. Getting past an alarm is another story. They probably opened her up and waited till the alarm stopped sounding and the coast was clear. Sorry for your troubles, it sucks.

I ******* hate thieves. I'd shoot my truck full of holes just to stop someone stealing my stuff and make sure they suffered a painful death. Cover of darkness laws rule! Sorry your got jacked man.

Sorry that you have to go throught this bullshhh right now. I know that here in NYC an alarm doesnt mean a thing. So many of them go off b/c of big trucks, motorcycles and loud music that ppl just ignore them.

That blows...Sounds like they made off with some $$$ worth of stuff. The securilock system just prevents them from stealing the truck, short of picking it up and carrying it off.

I have read people here saying our trucks don't have alarms.
But, if I lock the truck with my keyremote, and someone opens it from the inside, it triggers the alarm.
So, that's an alarm isn't?

Sorry for your loss

Giorgio

You have the factory alarm...Mine doesn't do that. I only have the Securilock part that's standard. They have to use my chipped key to start the vehicle, or it won't start. They can pop the locks, or bust a window, and do as they please. Where I live though, there aren't many issues.

Potheads can usually afford the product, crackheads have to steal, rob or kill to get what they want. Sad. Just glad I have never tried it. Sorry to hear about you're unfortunate incident, hope they catch the SOB's
