Door chime

I seem to remember reading a while back how to do it but now I can't find that thread. I want to disable the door chime, mainly so I can clean the interior while listening to music. Anyone know how?

Remove Pink/Black wire on IC or steering column.

The only time I tried it was on my Ranger and there was a chime box under the bottom of the dash, I just yacked it out and that was that. Don't have anything for you on the F150's but that's my 2cents. BUMP

That Door Chime is a real pain, I wish it would shut off when my key was in accessory position. Nothing more annoying when your trying to detail your interior and play some tunes at the same time and the door chime goes off steady. Think you can't just disable it though, pretty sure you'd need to cut a wire somewere.
