Cabin a/c airflow question?

So i've noticed that when I move zones (defog, leg, chest, ect.) on the a/c, there will always be a significant airflow coming from the dash vents even if not selected. Is this normal? I just seem to remember no airflow from the dash unless I select it.

Dont ever cahnge it from the top vents but i just checked it for you, I had no air at all come out of the top vent when i put it on floor and floor/defrost. I have the digital one tho, not sure what you have, or if it matters. Hope this helps

I had a problem with my HVAC system. Don't know if it's related to yours, but my controls were getting stuck in one position.

I forget exactly what they replaced, I'll try to find my service slip (it was under warranty).

Its not the digital controls.

I really do seem to remember no air from the dash when something else is selected.

I guess i'll just have to take her in and see what the deal is, and might as well take care of that steering wheel shimmy i've had forever.

Shaun, let me know if you had the same problem.

Thanks
