Headlight Fuses

Where are they? I think i blew my low beam fuse today when i was messing with my headlights (ground touched the low beam prong). My high beams work, and when i turn my fogs on my high beams come on. My low beams dont work period.

Where is the fuse for the headlights on a 2004? and how big is it/where can i get a replacement? thanks.

I'm sure an 04 is the same as an 05. My fuse panel is on the passenger side. If someone were sitting in your passenger seat, look to the right where their right foot would be. Take the cover off and it tells you where it is.

Kinda scratching my head over this one- how did you touch the prong with the ground? The low beams are fused individually whereas the high beams are on one fuse. Hard to imagine if you touched a prong how it could have blown both fuses since they are on two different circuits. Let us know what works out when you find out. Something isn't right there- sounds like it may have messed up something in the BCM or the fuse block.

If you don't figure it out, bring it this weekend and we'll work it out I'm sure of it.

I am running HIDs and it takes power from only 1 side (just to get signal to the harness). i think my HID prongs touched and blew the passenger side fuse (the one it runs signal from). Im sure my driver side fuse is fine but the harness wont stretch that far. im going to switch the passenger and driver side fuses and see if that fixes it. ill get back to you guys.

Let us know because my Kit just went out also. My fogs are on but no headlights (high or low) I checked some fuses (23,24,25) and the relay fuse but they all look good, I m pretty sure I missing one though.

Thats what happened to mine. The box lid has the fuse location, and the owners manual has what each fuse does. With my 55w HID's I would blow a fuse, I thought it was the Ballast. It is like 24 and 26 for the left and right. They are like 10amp. Go to walmart and pick you up a pack with like 2 of each in there. Then keep it in your truck for emergencys.

Check your grounds, make sure they are grounded well and to a pure metal surface.
