hey guys i broke my lil keyless entry remote...like it still works i just broke off the part that the key ring slides through...so right now i'm using JB weld to hold it to the key ring, but i was wondering if yall knew where i could get one cheap. I saw some on ebay but not sure if it was a smart buy...well thanks

 

Try Travis at KC Autosound, he deals with Ford accessories. He might have a blank or empty case for the remote.

 

I did the same thing. Got another from ford for like 35bucks.

 

I've bought at least 3...I'm thinking it's actually 5 keys off eBay. They work just fine. And all have been Ford keys. Most of them are surplus OEM Ford keys.

just don't pay more than $12-15 for the key itself. Otherwise you're getting ripped off.

 

sweet i'll probably go check the dealership and check their prices and if its not too high i'll get it there if not i'll go to ebay

 

I would just buy one from ebay and then switch the internals from your remote to the ebay one and then you know it will work and you dont have to mess with reprogramming. Thats just what I did when my dog chewed mine up a little bit.
