Im not a huge fan of cowl hoods on trucks, to me it looks like a broken or big nose, but to each his own, if yu like it that is all it matters

I LUUUUUV the side profile but undecided on the front view. However it is, imo, one of the better looking hoods so far for the 04-08 150's.

I'm sure glad my wife and I had a mod plan before I got my truck and joined the truck forums.

It doesn't belong on a truck
1 of the top 3 opinions I received from day 1 on the sites when sharing my mod plans......

Well yeah the hood itself is cool, reminisent of the 96-98 cobras. But what you have to ask yourself is if this hood has any buisness on the front of a huge, slow F150 truck.

It doesn't look like it belongs on a truck but I'm not paying your truck payment so as long as you like it !!
you're not alone. those nostrils came along in '96 and they're STILL putting them on hoods? come on, can't anyone come up with something different? they don't even match the lines of the truck.

Texas weather is definitely a crapshoot, but I'll take it.
I HAD $3,500 DAMAGE TO MY TRUCK IN THE LATE FEBRUARY HAIL STORM. WE PARKED MY WIFES JEEP OUTSIDE FOR THIS LAST STORM, BUT WE WERENT LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET ANY MORE.

I still haven't had the adjuster make it over to come to look at my truck. They are so busy with claims they haven't made it to me yet, and I reported my claim the morning after it all happened. I hope it's that high!

Gross. Might as well buy some LUND stick on hood scoops to cover the damage.

I am also in the market for a hood. First it was a hail storm, then while parked at a shuttle parking place while I was on a trip, another storm comes through and knocks the covered parking down on my truck . No chance of paint less repair now.

What is mosts preference? Steel, fiberglass, OEM engineered material?? My choices so far are the Reflexxion, Good Hood and Ram Air.
