I like the Foose style...different from the other run of the mill stripes out there

 

I did matte black racing stripes on my 07 DSG FX2.

 

I say no stripes on the white truck. Less is more in it's case.

Although I usually don't like stripes toprat's truck looks awesome with the flat black stripes.

 

i say stripe it, but then i again i may be a little partial



i cant say whether i like the traditional or foose style better, they both look good to me.

I think the stripes in the 1st pic would look great - match tme up to some nice black wheels and you will have a sweet lookin truck!

 

Thanks for all the opinions guys! I'm SO torn. I really like both sets of stripes. One thing I need to consider is if I just do simple stripes, I can just do them in Vinyl. But if I do the Foose style, I'm going to paint them flat black. That is a HUGE step! So it's probably going to be the regular stripes in about 12"-14" width, with a 1/4" pinline around them. How wide are yours SMOK][N ? That is the width I have in mind, but with a pinline. Unless I can find a VERY reasonable painter. As far as matching the wheels with the black stripes, I'm doing a chrome lip with white centers to match the truck. I think with the 24's it will really set off the truck.

Of course after all of this is done... I want to drop it, BUT again I have to really think it out... I carry a lot of stuff in the bed of my truck 2500 pounds at times. So that seriously puts a damper on that I think????

 

Don't think you'll go wrong either way. They both look good.

 

Why put a Dodge stripe on a Ford?

Personally I like the truck all white, it just looks so clean. But the stripes don't look bad either. Tough call.

 

I like the Foose stripes

But not so sure about flat black......

 

 

Foose, Little different, looks pretty cool, and I'd say stick with black, or metalic Gray. Dont go Blue/Red, Kinda be a little Honda Civ-icky!
