What are the signs of a bad ball joint? squeaks/ride shakes? alignment?

My front end is squeaking. Not sure if it's the ball joint. Then I had the suspension shop lift the front end up and shake the suspension and there was play. The ride is much rougher as well.

when i would cut the wheel just about all the way (turning into a parking spot) the front tires would kick in or out and drag

That's alright, your always going to get different opinions. I can only tell you my experience. You'll be alright with the moogs. Have had mine on now for 60,000 miles and have had no problems. Hell, my oem ball joints had play in them after 20,000 miles and they only got worse as did the shaking.

bad lowers will cause a knocking sound on bumps. jack the truck put a crow bar under the tire and lift the suspension. You'll feel the loose ball joint pretty quick. I use one of those flat Stanley crow bars that works like a foot pedal for lifting dry wall. Works great on tires too.

Man I had that knocking sound since like day one.

What will bad upper's cause, in terms of symptoms?
