pats04xlt,

I have a question for you. I have black powdercoated nerf bars and love how yours look. Do you know would I just have to scuff them up with sand paper to get the herculiner to stick or what? Mine have a little rust on them and I think that this would be a great remedy!

Thanks

I`ve been thinking about doing this for weeks and got side tracked when I ordered my DA and detailing supplies. I need to do this in a few weeks.

I painted mine the same color as the truck, theyre in my gallery..on a DSG truck I think that would look pretty good, just make sure you clearcoat them w some flex adhesive in the paint so it gives a little and doesnt chip

what do you mean by flex adhesive? Is this a type of paint or an additive?

I did a quick google search and couldn't find anything.

Thanks to you and the others for the tips!
