Problems with RCD lift: Need Help
I'll try to keep this short.
I have: 2004 Supercrew FX4 with RCD lift 35" on 18" moto metals
My problem: I got the lift installed by a local shop about a year ago and about every few months, something would get loose causing my camber to be thrown off, the caster to get changed, throwing my alignment out of wack and I would have clunking sounds when i turned. Lately it is happening a lot more frequently so last week they changed out the cam bolts thinking they might have stretched them by over torquing them. Well, the same day I got it back, I took a long trip and on the freeway I noticed that my steering wheel started to not face forward while going straight. By the time I got to my destination, everything was off again! I've taken it back but they are all scratching their heads on what is causing these problems. I know this is limited information, and if you would like more detail, I can add, but any professional suggestions on what is going on would be most appreciated.

It's the came bolts no doubt about it. Get OEM ones back in there fast!
This happened to me exactly on my rancho 4" lift.
I had it in the shop for alignment twice. The key is you MUST torq those cam bolts down! 222 ft. lbs on mine. Take it back to the aligment shop and have them crank them down tight. This is a must or the will give you these issues.
Also index them with a sharpe so you know which ones a slipping on you.
