Toe in out on rt rear, causes?
Toe in, out on left rear, causes?
I took the truck in after a 2" leveling for a front end alignment. The drivers rear toe-in was out .30. the pass was .05. Threre's no ajustment for this. I was rear ended about a year ago stopped at a red light. totaled the front end on the escort. Could this have caused it? Bent something? Any thought's? It's going in to the dealer Tues.

The issue is with the left rear the tire points in and there is no adjustment for this.

Mine was the same way after my leveling kit and alignment. I'll look for my printout and tell you how bad it is. I have never been in an accident with my rig. I've kept an eye on my tires and havent noticed any uneven wear. It has been about 15,000 miles since I put my kit on.

Shouldnt be a problem for you. Your "thrust angle is .30 + .05 /2 = .17. This will cause your truck to drive crooked by .17 deg. Meaning the set of rear tires will be shifted to the left or right of the front ones while driving straight by .17 deg. This shouldnt cause any problem as the standard alignment is a "Thrust Angle Alignment" which will compensate the front toe to match the rear so when you drive straight your steering wheel will be staight and there should be no pull to the left or right.

Here's my read out. Ft left caster 5.01 camber -.42 toe in .49. Ft right caster 5.07 camber -.58 toe in ..09.
Rears: right rear camber -.13, toe in .23. left rear camber 0.07, toe in -.15
A little different than yours but not much....The only complaint I have is it seems I have to hold the wheel a hair to the right to keep it going straight. I'll probly take it in for another one pretty soon here.

I believe total toe is .15 which should be split evenly between both sides.
To the original question about the rear axle you can shift the axle to get the toe/thrust angle better. I've done it using a come-along to pull the axle in the right direction after loosening the U-bolts, front spring eye bolt and rear shackle bolts. There is some play in those joints.
