HID's Installed

I want to thank Attworth, and mSaLL150 for their help.

Took awhile to figure out the heads, but they're working. I didn't think they'd get that hot. I hope I don't have to replace my fogs again down the road. I think I also got some more wiring to look at. When I run with my fogs and heads on the symbol for my brights is dimly lit, but when the fogs are off it disappears.

Here are the pics,

HID's in fogs, silver star's in heads

All from HID4U. Very fast shipping and easy enough to deal with. They're all 6000K Diamond White.

If they are that blue those are not 6000k. Could be bad exposure on the camera. Looks awesome, I'll never own another vehicle without'em. I have been pulled over 4 times, and ticketed 3 of those 4 times for HID's. I do it to **** off an officer around here who always works the night shift in our town, he has given me 3 tickets so far. Him and I get along great. He kinda has the upper hand

Looks good. I have the 5,000k. I really like them. I have the same problem when I have my fogs and headlights on. Wish I knew how to fix it.

Maybe a stupid question, but why would you get ticketed for having HIDs"

You got a nice little aura borelius effect going on there ha. I am thinking about doing the same setup ( Silverstars in the heads and the HID's in the fogs) but can you explain more on the highbeam light problem? Is it just the light on the dash lighting up, or is there an actual problem with your lights? thanks.

heat

after reading the op's post it had me thinking about the heat of HID's. has anyone had a problem with them damaging the fog or headlight lenses? I have had to change one lens on my FX2 because it had has a lot of small little cracks in it and it has the stock bulbs. the FX2 lights are smoke colored if that makes a difference.

no need to remind, I never forget. But take into consideration I am lifted (although aimed down). I only get picked on locally because I have a few issues with the local LEO's. I don't think I've ever been pulled over other than here and I spend most my time out of town.
