08 FX2 or 60th?

I just got back from the dealer and i'v narrowed my choice down to the FX2 supercrew or the 60th anniversary supercrew. The FX2 is about $2000 cheaper but is loaded with almost every option. The 60th is a 4x4 with a few small options, mirrors, power rear window, fog lights etc. They both have the 5.4L. I live up here in Canada and i like the fact of having the 4x4 for the bad snow falls we get in the winter, but man do i love the look and handling of the FX2. Which one should i go with? Thanks

The 60th is AWD with 4x4hi...it has no 4x4lo

the FX2 will be a blast on the road in summer, but life will truly suck in snow/ice.

I gotta vote you get the 60th Anniversary. The AWD will be a nice feature with all the snow you guys get. But it sucks that your going to lose some HP due to the parasitic nature of AWD. You can always get a FX2 bumper and grill to throw on the 60th later on

I'll quote my wife on this one. "Why get a truck if your not going to get four wheel drive?" Now I know there are plenty of reasons to get a two wheel drive truck, but gosh I love her more for saying that. Can you tell we havent been maried long?

When my wife got her 2008 Edge a couple months back, the dealer had one AWD on the lot and 35 FWDs. My wife had a limit on what she wanted to spend, so we had to decide between a loaded AWD Limited without factory navigation or a loaded FWD Limited with factory navigation. We both decided that navigation was a huge waste and got the AWD. It was one of the best decisions that we have ever made. That thing handles like a dream and gets around great in snow and rain. Now, if I could just get her to let me put the H&R lowering springs on it!

Since you live in Canucksville ( ) I;d go with the 60th. They are both nice rides, but with any chance of snow, you'd need the AWD.

I'm voting AWD too.
I'll have to check out what the 60th is. is it the same as the limited?

But, regardless, I've owned 2wd pickups for the past 7 or 8 years, and this is the first winter where I felt completely confident in my vehicle. 4x4/awd is now a necessity for any vehicle I buy.
Listen to me, I'm Canadian!

I'd be lost without 4x4. You are way farther North then me, get it.

If your gonna spend the money to get a truck, get the 4X4. Thats what having a truck is all about. I still don't understand why you guys by 2wd trucks, I could understand if it was front wheel drive or something but C'MON! And don't give me the "I live in southern Florida/Texas/California we don't need it" bologna either, spend the the extra $$$ and get your self some *****!!

I'd rather have the 4wd and not need it then not have it and wish I did.

Neither, get a FX4 - the best of both worlds.
