Tire presure sensor question

I have a 2006 F150 Fx4 does it have the sensors on the wheels or did they start that in 07?

Your 06 does NOT have tpms, it became standard safety feature in 2007, another stupid person feature IMO.

x2 another "safety feature" designed for those "turn the key and go drivers who expect the truck/car never to need anything or any maintaining" i mean its not all bad, but how many guys wouldnt notice a low tire, seriously now if they put those tpms on trailer tires, that would be a good idea actually. i remember last summer following a guy home (40 miles or so) pulling a boat on a trailer with both tires flat, funny sh*t ever, i drove by trying to tell him but he didnt get it.

Yeah I can't say much good about TPMs, it got really cold here and they went haywire on me. Alerting low tires when they were properly aired up.

Be prepared to replace one of them soon then...

They are battery powered using a small watch battery that is not replaceable...

i was told that they should last about 7 yrs before they need replacing. the battery's are not replacable either another money maker by ford, who has those ideas serious, probably the same jackass that thought of the sealed ball joints

I hate how the 2wd people need to buy integrated hub and rotors... that's another money maker for Ford right there...
