low tire pressure light

low tire pressure light

i just my 22's on and my low pressure tire light stays on i put some air pressure in them then the light went off for a few days now its back on
is it that sensative help me out guys

It's quite possible that there is one of many things wrong:

1. You have a slow leak.
2. The TPMS sensor might be going bad.
3. The TPMS sensor might be not secured properly to the rim.
4. The TPMS receiver on the truck is going bad.

there shouldnt be nottin goin bad the trucks only got 8000 miles on it how are those sensors attached

They are clamped on to the rim with a band... similar to one of those o-clamps that compress when you use a screw driver and turn it... it compresses up... but it's a little different... but you get my point.

I would say that one of the sensors is bad. I had one go out on my '07 at only 10k with OEM rims and tires.

I think they are battery powered or something... not sure.

r u 22's OEM o aftermarket? if they r aftermarket they don't have TPSM install

Did the shop that installed your 22's move the TPMS sensors to the new wheels and attach them securely?

i have hear of shops "forgetting" to snap in the tpms sensor keeper thing and the sensor exploding inside the tire when it comes loose.

what psi are you putting in the 22's and what size did you ahve stock before. The stock sensors only support a vertine psi .
