Yea, those Sequoia's will get up and MOVE!! There was one at the track the other night. I had to look twice to see what it was, and make sure he wasnt next to me in the staging lanes...

What gears do you have??

Im due for some 4.10's... ordered them today, should be in Wed. and they have me scheduled to install them on Saturday.

Then I'll be back at the track next week to see how it works!!

In the video I had Precision 4.10's. Now I have Ford Racing 4.10's. Turns out they are the exact same thing. At least my sets were.

I changed due to inproper install the first time.

That's what I am afraid of.... I hate the idea of letting someone else work on my truck. But I have never installed gears before, and I know there's a little more to it then just unbolt the 3.55's and rebolt the 4.10's.. I WISH it was that simple.

They are the biggest shop around here, and they mainly work on 4x4 and ect..ect.. I am just hoping the guy behind the scenes know's what he's doing. I dont have time to keep taking it back, or have it fail me.

Fingers are crossed!!

Well I assumed the same thing first time around. I took it to 4 Wheeler Parts of Orlando, which is a reputable shop for 4 x 4 stuff and they installed them incorrectly. I had the pinion seal leaking multiple times and they didn't get the depth right. There was a ton of whine at highway speeds that was driving me crazy.

So I finally decided I'm going to get OEM Ford 4.10's. This time I took it to Powered by Ford in Orlando. These guys were a bunch of morons. They knew what they were talking about but their customer service was ABSOLUTLEY horrendous. My truck was there for 2 weeks getting gears put in. They had to order oem shims from Ford to correct the first incorrect install and they refused to use a shim kit. So my truck was there for 2 weeks and everytime I called they never would give me a time of completion. Never again will I do business with them and I do not recommend anyone else does either.

That being said they managed to get the gears to be quiet on the highway. There is still some whine at only light throttle applications between 40-47 but I'm over it. If you're cruising at 80 and let off there is some noise as the truck whines down but if you have the radio on you can't hear it. Overall I'm much happier than the last setup because crusing it's quiet.

However, other than acceleration getting gears has been a pain in my *** and my wallet. I'd still rather have 4.10's over the 3.55's though. It really woke the truck up.

However if you're in Orlando don't take it to either one of those places!!
