Uh oh

I was tinkering around with the grille today, and I dropped a bolt. I crawl under the truck to find it when I see it. Grease was all over my left CV boot, and the top of my lower control arm too. Called the dealer and got an appointment for first thing Monday morning. I got the 2" AS but I can't see it causing it, due to my angles being fine. I don't think they'll make a stink about them anyway. I had a lower ball joint go out awhile back and they didn't say a word about them.

Just a rant to let off a little steam. Thank's for reading.

Sounds like the boot got a tear in it... anything could have torn it... heck, it could've been defective.

I recommend getting the other side looked at as well.

I got almost 20,000, but I'm pretty sure I caused the problem, but not with the AS.

Here are the pics,

With the boot I am guessing that you caught a stick or something and that is what ripped it. I actaully did the same thing on 2 different 4-wheelers, once while out hunting and the other when playing in the marsh. All it takes is a little stick to pop up snag the boot and it is ripped.
