Used rize lift??

Hi,
I am considering purchasing a used 8 in rize lift. Anyone have any advice on this idea?

Who's selling it? I wouldn't buy it if it's coming out of Alabama.

Its not out of alabama but im curious as of why not out of alabama.

Because we know of a guy who lives in Alabama who had a F150 but started selling stuff off of it and scammed someone for a Roush exhaust system. He actually might still have his truck but I swore he was talking about getting rid of people.

Good lookin out Thump. There is no reason you should not go with a used kit. It's all bracketry for the most part, no moving parts (well the Rize has the steering rack track system) but should be no issues even then.

I dont think that you should have anything to worry about, especially with only 8k miles. One thing that I would do is use new hardware (i.e. bolts). I am an engineer and in my professional opinion ,the old bolts would probably be OK, but it is cheap insurance to just buy new. There wont be that many to buy anyways.
