I hope for your sake it's that easy of a fix.

Well i already got the fuel filter changed two days ago, so i know that is not the problem. I know the battery is not corroding, and its making full contact. Only the engine shuts off, all the electronics still stay on, it turned off on me twice today. I am going to go check the TPS later today to see if that is the problem. Thx again

But if everything looked all gunhoe in the throttle body (very clean), then I'd be leaning towards the TPS sensor.

Well I ended up taking the truck the the dealer to get it diag, They ended Calling this morning telling me that i need a new throttle body, and that it needed reprograming. They told me it would cost me $588 for all of it. Any idea why i would need a new throttle body , i checked It the day before and it was clean, it dint look dirty or anything.

They just go bad.
Then again, I had a mechanical throttle body spring break on me, and I got taken for a nice WOT ride and a nice ticket.

could i just get another throttle body from another truck and swap it out, does it actually need reprogramming. OR could it just be the sensor? can i just swap that to? Because i was reading that the sensor was not reusable. Is the Tps the same on 4.2L and 5.4L, does the throttle body come with the sensor if i buy it from the dealer.
