edge Evolution owners-oil temp displayed?

Reading about the product on Edge's website it states it will display engine oil temp. Is this correct?

Reason I ask is I have a scan guage II installed which can't do this. I called Scan Gage to see if they could add it and they said that information isn't available through the OBDII port. If the Edge product is dislaying it then obviously is possible though.

Thanks for the help.

The 4.6 is missing 1 of the sensors and I can't remember which one, but if the vehical doesn't have it they can't show it. The 5.4 can show it.

Me three!
... I have the 5.4

anyone else have both the engine oil temp and the coolant temp displayed? These are 2 of mine and its interesting to watch the difference in temperatures on cold mornings. The coolant warms up pretty quick (is the sensor in the radiator or on the engine lines?) but the oil takes awhile to warm up. It makes sense, but is somewhat counter-intuitive at first thought. My first thought is that the oil would have warmed up first, but then I got to thinking about it and the coolant flows around the top of the cylinders where all the heat is so it warms up quicker.

But either way... on the really cold mornings it doesn't heat up quick enough
I noticed that the new 2008 SDs have an auxiliary heater available for instant heat! (perhaps its also on the past diesels and I just didn't know it?)

oh well... now I am rambling...

4.6-Edge shows no oil temp

Is it possible to get the correct sensor installed and wired in on the 2007 4.6L to show the oil temp? I wonder if the connector is actually in the engine wiring harness already and just not being used? Any one know? Thanks
