Good to see. I've got the 4.6 as well and was wondering how towing a trailer with two bikes will go (one light crotch rocket and one heavy cruiser). I will be down on power being at a much higher elevation but I won't be hauling as much weight either. good times

Yup, doing occasional track days. Going to Baber motorsports park(AL) next month and then Road Atlanta.

If my old four banger ranger could do this....

Then your F150 should have ZERO problems towing two bikes.

Nice setup, I'm hoping for a bigger trailer for my toys here really soon.

Nice!

It looks like you might need a weight distribution hitch though.

Now thats makin use of what you got! I'm only going to have about 1100lbs of bike and whatever trailer I happen to find. My lift and 37's are goin on in a few weeks but I'm throwin 4.88's in at the same time so hopefully that won't hurt too bad. Time will tell.

Nice looking rig indeed, With all the money you spent on bikes and trialers I would have opted for the 5.4 as towing would be a little easier with the 5.4 fully loaded down over the 4.6.
Just one mans opinion though...

Did you have to unhitch? Or did you just jack-knife to get the bikes out of the bed?

He's probably maybe at about half what his truck is rated for there. Remember weight wise, 2 sportbike = 1 Harley...approximately. My sportbikes in the Ranger pic, both probably weight about 50-100lbs a piece more than his and definately 100lbs more than my 600cc race bike. Most of the rest of the trailer that he's hauling is just air.

Nope that's the replacement for me makin use of what I had. This was making use of what I had!

Believe it or not, it was actually rated to tow that much weight. The motor handled it well, the brakes (weakest of that line of car was that year) were the problem. So I got the Ranger and now have the F150. I have no doubts now about my truck being able to haul my toys.

Well......I was upside down on my trade-in, '06 Pathfinder LE, so I couldn't get all the options I wanted.

Yes, I had to unhitch to get the bikes out of the bed. Probably could've jack-knife though, but didn't try to.
