Yup, it's a completely new design.

When have i wondered why ive gotten banned?

Ive understood each time after ive calmed down why ive gotten banned. Stupid arguments with toyota lovers have gotten intense and gotten me banned, i dont bother anymore because theyre too thickheaded .

why are you here if you don't like the people or own an f150? Seems pretty dumb.

Are the doors the same on the 04-08 and 09+

Isn't this the truth. As you know there's nothing wrong with the Escape, it's the best selling compact SUV on the market for a reason. I think I've said this to you already, if I didn't need my F150 as much as I do I would trade it for an Escape in a heartbeat. My wife and I have been looking at an Escape Limited for her, that's one sweet ride.

Well yes and no, you can take a bed from an 80 model and bolt it to a 96 model the only difference is the wheel opening, the body line is the same. Same thing with the fenders and front end all the body panels will match up because the cab and doors are identical. The tailgates have different skins but all will bolt up through 80-96. Now as far as engines go, yes there was some changes but nothing that still was not interchangeable. you can still bolt up a 96 model 302 or 351 or 300 straight six to an 80 model truck no cutting, no welding. Only the wiring and accessories would be different. This is why I consider them to be the same generation. in 97 no engines, trannys, or body parts could interchange with the 80-96 model.
