yes i ground it down with an air angle die grinder with 36 grit to remove the chrome and roughen it up.

Looks great. I think FX2 headlights and FX2 grille would make it look even more badass.

Looks good, although I suspect it won't look great as it ages.....??

You could probably touch it up from time-to-time with some black spray paint as it needs it........

Actually i talked to a guy whos had his for years still looks great and can be touched up with more herculiner as need be,also uses spray on tire shine to keep it black too.

I was thinking about doing this with linex but the cost changed my mind. How much did this set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

Truck looks sweet.
How did you apply on side of truck ?

How do you think it you look like on a white truck .But leaving the bumper as is.
