Expensive Fender Bender

Do you see $1162 worth of damage?

Close up pics.

The back end came around on me in about 12" of snow this past weekend and I hit a little 8' trailer sitting beside my buddies driveway.

Good thing I only have to pay a $250 deductible. A new bumper is $540 of the price. You can see where it's bent inward slightly.

Wow. me personally I would just pull the bumper back out and get the bed side fixed and call it a day. Any imperfections in the bumper I would just chalk it up to adding some character to the truck

x2. Is the paint removed from the bed or is that just a scuff? Hard to tell, but I'm guessing it's missing paint. I'd see if it can be popped out and just bend that bumper back. Use what's left of that $1,100 to buy some mods.

Get a bumper from a bone yard, and call around some body shops.

Yeah the paint is gone. The sheet metal is also creased some too. If it was costing me over $250, then I would go another route.
